NOTICE: Mogollon (mo-go-yone) is a notorious ghost town nestled high (6500') in the sky island of the Mogollon Mountains of southwest New Mexico. Uniquely situated above breathtaking valleys midway between Albuquerque and Tucson, it is a two hour drive north of Silver City, New Mexico. Surrounded by the Gila National Forest and Gila Wilderness, opportunities for solitude abound. Silver Creek Inn is a rare two-story adobe structure built by Frank Lauderbaugh circa 1885. The old adobe building has been renovated and restored by Stan King, who arrived in Mogollon in 1980. ![]() The Inn provides accommodations for adults only, and is smoke and pet-free. Upon reopening we will only host groups of 6 - 10 adults, with a 2-night minimum. Our venue is well suited for gatherings of like minds to study their particular practices such as art, music, yoga, meditation, hiking, biking, bird watching, cooking and baking. Our reservations page for facility layout and amenities will be available for your reservation application. Come enjoy the peace and quiet. Retreat to an area of openness and art, to talking creeks and creaking stairs, to a town of population 15 and a tradition of southwest hospitality. NM STATE 159 (BURSUM ROAD) Reopens
